Delivery date: August 2008 Nature: R (Report) Dissemination level: PU (Public) Lead partner: UPMC Relevant OneLab1 workpackage: WP5 Validation PDF file:  Validation results: WP3A  , WP3B , WP4A , WP4B , WP4C , WP4D , WP4E Deliverable description: This deliverable consists of the validated OneLab platform, fully operated by WP1 Operations, which by this time had reached its full autonomy. The unified OneLab platform size was the sum of those of PlanetLab Europe and of the OneLab platform embryo. The OneLab consortium currently hosted around 25 PlanetLab nodes, and regardless of the OneLab proposal the plans for the near future were to bring this figure to 35. All these nodes would of course be the first to be transferred to PlanetLab Europe during the course of WP1. The size of the extended OneLab embryo was planned to be in the 20 to 25 range, so at the very least the unified OneLab platform hosted 60 nodes, as size that could very well have reached 80 to 100 or even more, if we take into account the European organizations that joined PlanetLab during the project, and those hosted by PlanetLab Europe. In any case, the nodes running the newly developed components were this stage fully a part of PlanetLab, and as such could participate in experiments involving the 600+ other nodes that currently populated the platform. |
