Tsinghua University

Established in 1911, Tsinghua University is a prestigious Chinise centre of learning. The School of Information Science and Technology is home to 6P-UOA, a pure IPv6 testbed which was built in 2003, and hosted a large-scale routing and multicast research project under China Next Generation Internet (CNGI).  From March 20th through August 31st 2009, Mr Zheng Yang, a doctoral student at Tsinghua under the supervision of Prof. Xing Li, was employed by LIP6 of UPMC, where he worked under the supervision of OneLab coordinator Prof. Serge Fdida. During this time, he worked on developing the technical means for creating a federation between the 6P-UOA and PlanetLab Europe testbeds

Role in the OneLab project:

6P-UOA,  a PlanetLab-like testbed developed at Tsinghua, will be federated with PlanetLab Europe. Tsinghua will also help to study improved testbed operations.
