The research leading to the results of the OneLab2 project (September 2008 - November 2010) received funding from the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n°224263-OneLab2. Additional activities relating to the OneLab facility are financed by the organizations detailed below.

The OneLab2 project, running for 27 months from September 1st, 2008, had a total cost of 8.9 million euros. Of this, 6.3 million euros were funded by a large-scale Integrating Project (IP) grant from the European Commission's FP7 ICT programme's FIRE initiative. The rest of the budget consisted of individual contributions made by each of the project's 26 partners.

The OneLab1 project, running for 24 months from September 1st 2006 to August 31st 2008, had a total budget of 2.9 million euros. This budget included a Specific Targeted Research Project (STREP) grant of 1.9 million euro, provided in the framework of the European Commission's FP6 IST programme. The rest of the budget was made up by contributions from the consortium of ten partners.

Additional activities relating to both OneLab1 and OneLab2 were financed by the following organizations: Ministère de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche, Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Région Ile-de-France, Mairie de Paris.
