INRIA will participate in the project from its research centre Sophia-Antipolis Méditerranée. More specifically, all activities related to this project will be carried out inside the Planète project-team. The project-team focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating internet protocols and applications. The main objective of the group is to propose and study new architectures, services and protocols that will enable group and secured communication through the internet. The Planète project-team is involved in the current OneLab project in which Thierry Parmentelat serves as a Technical Director. The Planète group is also strongly involved in the NS3 NSF project, and contributes to the development of the next version of the well-known network simulator NS.

Role in the OneLab project:

Within the first phase of the project INRIA was responsible for the integration of new componants into the OneLab codebase. In OneLab2 INRIA is lead of WP1 Integration and of WP9 Benchmarking. INRIA is not involved in the other work packages.
