Alcatel-Lucent Italia Antonio Cimmino graduated in electronic engineering at the Universita of Federico II in Naples. He was a researcher at the University of Naples in software modelling (HDL) and simulation of digital circuits, and a teacher at the Italian air force in telecommunications and air-navigation, transmission systems. Then he joined Alcatel Italia, working in the radio mobile research department of Alcatel Face. He was involved in preparation and participation of Race projects for system definition, network architecture on the Mobile Broadband System project and with the UMTS project on evolutions of GSM/DCS1800 systems and OBANET FP5. In FP6 he is involved in FP6-WEIRD, FP6-Magnet beyond, FP6-OneLab and FP6- Nobel2. Associated OneLab2 work package(s): WP2, WP3, WP6. |
